Broom Hockey on ICE!

So this past Friday night I went with my college group to Franklin to play broom hockey. The thing is, we played at an ice hockey rink with our tennis shoes on! Oh it was amazing. It wasn't just the college group that went. People from the BCM and other places went. There were probably about 60 people there - almost everyone was on the ice at the same time. It was so much fun! I didn't expect to enjoy it as much as I did. I thought it would be really hard to move around on the ice, let alone run, but running on ice in tennis shoes isn't as hard as it may seem. Oh it was great. We played with these long paddle things and several small balls, like four or five, and we were divided into two teams. We had the ice from 10 to midnight, and thankfully a hockey game had just ended, so the ice was roughed up. One guy did get pretty hurt and had to get some stiches, but he was okay. Another girl hit her head too, but she was fine. I am so sore now though; the ice makes you move muscles you never knew you had! it is crazy. Anyway, that has been the highlight of my week, if not my semester. So, I am excited about next semester when we do it again!

That sounds like it was really fun! Back at the end of our semester, everyone from the BCM here went to Bethel and did a scavenger hunt all over the town! We had to purchase the cheapest thing we could find, so, our group bought 1 Cent of gas!! :)
Glad you're having fun! God Bless!!
