the past week at a glance

This past week has been pretty hectic. I cannot say I have been overwhelmed, but simply worked to my limit. It is strange because I don't have too much to acomplish, but just enough to keep me constantly working; it is quite tiresome really. In acting class, we performed our scenes, and Faith and I got a really great response. It was a blast working with Faith; she helped me learn and grow and we really worked off of each other. The next (and final) scene I have is with Kayla. I am excited about the scene we picked and I hope it goes as well as, if not better than, the last one. I love Third Baptist Church. They really are my home away from home. I prayed for a Bible-teaching, Christ-serving church, and God answered! :) Dave, the college minister, is so kind and Godly, along with his wife, Mary Beth. Shannon goes there and she is helping me get involved. Also, the pastor preaches in the Holy Spirit. Beauty. wow. Also, the women and the ladies class are so precious. They love me and help me grow. God has blessed me. wow. I have been kinda, well really, stressed this week, and it is so nice that God has given me a day of rest. Now that he has woken me up to obey, I see the necesity of it. I look forward to Sunday - a day of no school work - even though I have to work harder during the week to acomplish it. It always me some much needed unwind, relax, and enjoy time. God is so good. Dylan and I have become so close over this past week. He really is a great guy and I admire him greatly. He is one person that I can joke with and have fun and also talk seriously about God with. His birthday is tomorrow, so HAPPY BIRTHDAY DYLAN! He is such a great friend to have. I am so looking forward to this coming break with ham and dressing and all the yummy stuff, particularly my grandmommy's chocolate pie! yummm...my favorite. I have a busy week until them, but I am still pumped. I am even more looking forward to Christmas; however, I shouldn't get that far ahead of myself. I am so glad God is allowing me to work Crossroads this year, but I am worried about some things. I shouldn't be though. God, You got it under control. :) Thanks Dad. I should now go and enjoy the remainder of my Sunday by reading New Moon. God bless. :)

That sounds great Chelsea! I thought you and Kaitlyn were just joking when I saw that picture of "Third Baptist Church"... lol... I thought y'all had made the sign on one of the many websites where you can make Church signs to say anything you want. lol...

The First Baptist Church at Martin has been great, and Bro. Mike really preaches good sermons. Everyone is very caring and supportive of one another... (and the music at Refuge on Wednesday nights is amazing!)
